Feature Story – August Cliff Slide Rearranges Yampa’s Warm Spring Rapid

The Yampa River's famous Warm Springs Rapid was rearranged by a landslide from the cliff face on river left in August of 2012.

Dinosaur National Monument has prepared a summary of the changes at the rapid. The document contains brief description of the geological event and photographic documentation of the changes to the cliff face and rapid below.
